On Saturday April 5th we celebrated Will's 3rd birthday. It seems like just yesterday we were walking out of the hospital to bring him home. As I think back to that wonderful day he came into our lives a flood of memories fill my mind. I remember looking at his beautiful face and feeling so thankful that God had given us such a perfect gift. And I remember my mom holding him for the first time and finally understanding how much she loves me. It was such a life changing experience. I don't know where the time has gone.We went to Orlando for few days and celebrated his birthday there and my mom flew in to be with us for the week. On his actual birthday we went to the waterpark where our friends Chuck & Mindy joined us with their boys TJ and Tyler. My Aunt Kathy came out too and we all had a nice lunch together. It was a very low key day and since all the children were 3 and under the festivities rapped up around 1 and everyone was down for naps (including me) by 1:30. I thought that Will's favorite part of the day would be when he got his very cool, Thomas the Train big boy bicycle but when we talk about what he got for his birthday he just talks about the cupcake...just proves that he is our son. We had a wonderful time with friends and family celebrating another year with Will.
